Our projects

Libaas's Academic Maatushree Programme (LAMP) aims to bring about a significant change in the lives of underprivileged children by granting them the opportunity to receive a top-notch education in English. Through academic scholarships, LAMP focuses on children from impoverished backgrounds who have had limited exposure to education in their local language and eventually dropped out of school. This program seeks to bridge the gap and provide these children with access to high-quality education, opening doors to a brighter future. LAMP's mission is to empower these children and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to break the cycle of poverty, enabling them to lead successful and fulfilling lives.

The Primary Education Scholarship Programme (PESP) was established with the goal of granting deserving underprivileged individuals access to high-quality primary education while also assisting economically disadvantaged families in managing their debts and saving regularly for their children's education. This initiative offers scholarships to students pursuing primary education, effectively expanding their academic horizons and improving their future career opportunities. Not only do the scholarship recipients benefit from this program, but their families also experience advantages. They are able to alleviate their financial burdens and receive valuable guidance on how to effectively manage and grow their savings.

'Haath Jodo'

India is a country where only 15% of the population is engaged in formal employment, while the majority are involved in the informal sector. Recognizing the challenges of creating employment opportunities, we have come to understand that it is more sustainable and feasible to empower individuals with self-employment options. In line with this, the ''Haath Jodo'' Project has been established to support people in setting up their own small businesses. The Libaas Welfare Foundation has played a crucial role in this initiative, providing self-employment kits to 825 individuals from West Bengal and Bihar. This initiative aims to enhance the livelihoods of these individuals and enable them to generate sustainable income through the establishment of their own businesses.
