From Exploitation to Empowerment — A Journey of Hope
In the narrow lanes of India’s red-light districts, countless women live unseen, unheard, and forgotten. Many of them were forced into sex work due to poverty, abuse, or the lack of opportunities. At Libaas Welfare Foundation, we believe that every woman deserves a second chance — a chance to learn, work, and live with dignity.
Through our Skill Development & Rehabilitation Programme, we provide education, counseling, and livelihood support to former and current sex workers who wish to rebuild their lives. Our centers in Kolkata and Bihar offer short-term vocational courses, digital literacy, and small business support, helping them transition from dependency to empowerment.

Education for Their Children – We ensure that children of sex workers receive proper schooling, nutrition, and emotional support to break the cycle of poverty.

Skill Training & Employment – Women are trained in tailoring, beauty services, digital skills, and small-scale entrepreneurship.

Counseling & Legal Aid – Our counselors help women overcome trauma, regain confidence, and access legal rights.
